Under the leadership of Dr. James Denton, Chair of Surgery and Medical Director for Trauma, our Surgical Services team provides high-tech, cutting edge technology, coupled with compassion throughout the surgical process. Our 22 operating rooms across the three campuses are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, offering computer-assisted and minimally-invasive advanced surgical techniques. Using techniques proven in other industries, such as “crew training”, to ensure our physicians, nurses, and other staff work effectively as a team with an emphasis on patient safety and high quality care. We offer the convenience of pre-registration over the phone and provide extensive patient preparation and education. Post operatively, the hospital is staffed with experts in pain management and wound healing who utilize early mobilization to promote recovery and quality measures to reduce infection rates.
